She's coming......

So for the first time in 3 weeks I'm finally "progressing"! As of Tuesday I'm officially a "1"! I know, doesn't sound like much, but for me who has been ready for weeks and has been continually been told by my doctor, "sorry, still no progression", I feel like a million bucks. However, I've had some high blood pressure on and off for the last few weeks and it reoccurred yesterday at my appointment, so my doctor informed me that we are going to induce this labor and I'm going to have this baby by Friday night! As much as I don't want to "take matter in to my own hands" he feels this is medically sound and at this point its better "baby out, than baby in". So, if she doesn't come today or tomorrow, she'll definitely be here by Friday. So keep us in your thoughts and prayers that all will go well and smoothly. I'll post pictures as soon as I can. We are sooo excited!

Surprise Sprinkle

On Monday when I arrived at our weekly playdate with Owen's school friends I was in for a huge surprise.....the moms threw me a Surprise Baby Sprinkle. It was sooo incredibly sweet. Baby Julia got so many cute little things. I am so lucky to have found a great group of mom's who are so thoughtful. Two great showers with two great groups of friends....I feel so blessed!

Baby Shower

This morning two of my good friends threw me a baby shower. It was really lovely. They used the theme of "About to Pop". There were pink, red and lime green polka-dots and balloons everywhere and all the food had something to do with "pop". There was a variety of popcorn, drinks in cans that "popped" when you opened them, pop tarts, "pop"py seed muffins, cake "pops", lolly pop bouquet, etc. It was so cute and so fun. We played a few fun games that I've actually never played before, and I have been to my fair share of baby showers and didn't think that was possible.
Front Entry, guess the due date.
 Food table
 Popcorn table

Guess how big Ann's belly is, with a balloon.
I'm actually the smallest of all of them.

Pacifier spitting contest.

I actually won, well came in second to one of the girls that threw the party, but she "let" me win.

Thanks Heather and Megan. It was so fun and such a lovely morning!
